Eltjo R. Poort leads the architecture practice at CGI in The Netherlands. In his 40-year career in the software industry, he has fulfilled many engineering and project management roles, as solution architect, developer, designer, requirements engineer, manager, consultant, reviewer, teacher, researcher, coach and practice leader. In the 1990s, he oversaw the implementation of the first SMS text messaging systems in the United States. In the last decades, he produced various publications on improving architecting practices, including a PhD thesis.
Eltjo is best known for his work on Risk- and Cost-Driven Architecture, a set of principles and practices for agile architecting, for which he received the Linda Northrop Software Architecture Award in 2016.

Dr. Remco de Boer is a managing partner at ArchiXL, a Dutch enterprise & information architecture consultancy, where he leads the development of their semantic knowledge management platform. He is a Research Fellow in Digital Architecture at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he also lectures the Digital Architecture course. As a practising architect, he is involved in the design and evolution of national reference architectures for education and cultural heritage. His interests include architectural knowledge management, decision making, and the use of semantic technologies to integrate and link knowledge sources to support knowledge management. His ideas on architectural knowledge management have had a significant impact on the way in which the Dutch public sector and other organizations now treat their architectural knowledge.

Matti Kinnunen

I work as enterprise architect for Gofore, a large consultancy in Finland. In the past, I have been chief architect for two banks, led R&D at Nokia, and worked IT and management consultant for a decade. My educational background is from MIT (engineering and management) and the University of Helsinki (philosophy, logic). I live in Helsinki, Finland.

My daily job is that of lead solution architect in Nordea’s Financial Crime Prevention unit. I have a past in bringing academic research into product innovations, which included talks at multiple research conferences. Before joining IASA Sweden’s board, I was heavily involved in the SEI’s SATURN conference and served on the IEEE ICSA conference program committee.
